The Eval Doc

The hexagon represents the many aspects of my professional life that have contributed to who I am, what I do, and how I engage in my work as a skilled facilitator, trainer, and evaluator.

My professional experience has encompassed participatory action research, arts-based research, clinical case management, research and evaluation, program evaluation, human resources, and training and development.

I am currently Supervisor of Academic Affairs and Assistant Professor in the Graduate Expressive Therapies Department at Lesley University. I have published on participatory action research with youth and arts-based spiritual practice and serve on the Editorial Board of The Journal of Poetry Therapy.

I have been working in the field of evaluation for over 25 years and my consulting practice specializes in process and outcomes evaluation, performance management, and organizational development. I have a BA in Women’s Studies from Trinity College and an MA in Expressive Arts Therapies and Mental Health Counseling and a PhD in Expressive Therapies from Lesley University. My research interests include multicultural counseling in the helping professions, use of poetic transcription in evaluation, and the role of spirituality in healing.
